The CIF was set up to give local parish, town and community councils the opportunity to work together by match-funding improvement projects within their own areas. Following feedback from the community consultation in 2022, WGTC applied to Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) for funding to roll out parking bays further across Wolverton to help alleviate some of the parking difficulties. These works took place in November when Anson Road had parking bays painted and in January when the remainder of Jersey Road was painted.

This year we have again re-applied for funding to further increase the roll out of bay parking lines in Wolverton and for more portable Speed Indicator Devices (SIDs) to be put up across the parish where there is evidence of speeding. This bid is currently being considered by MKCC and we will let you know whether we have been successful in due course.
Thank you to everyone who gave their views on the upgrade of Buckthorn Park in Stacey Bushes. We will use this feedback when working with contractors on the refurbishment of the park. When we have more information on these works we will let you know.
