About the Lantern Festival

Wolverton Lantern Festival has been 'bringing light to the town' since 1988 and offers an opportunity for the residents of the parish to come together, create and and celebrate. The event runs on one Saturday in November or December and there is a carnival atmosphere throughout the afternoon with live music and entertainers. You view the Wolverton Lantern Festival Facebook page for more information or email the organisers.

2022's festival will be held on Saturday 3rd December. The parade starts at 16:30 from The Square. This year's theme is 'minibeasts'. There will be public lantern making workshops at the Old Bath House on the 6th, 13th and 27th November from 14:00-17:00. Kits will be for sale and refreshments will be available for a donation. There's no need to book, but it will be busy so places are first come first served. Lantern kits will be on sale in local outlets in the autumn.
