Wolverton & Greenleys Community Youth Council

About Us

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Wolverton & Greenleys CYC (Community Youth Council).

Wolverton & Greenleys CYC has been established to provide a voice for young people at a level to forge links and facilitate dialogue between young people and decision makers. We would like to make improvements to our communities and work on projects that can have a positive impact on people’s lives.

We are actively looking for new members to join our steering committee.

Why Join

The CYC aims to give younger people a voice in the community, to make a difference. You need to be aged between 11-18 to take part.

This is a great opportunity for all younger people to have their say about issues that affect them and their communities. The CYC aims to raise the profile of young people to ensure that local decision makers recognise that younger people are the future generation and are an important part in our future.

Benefits of Joining Include:

  • Excellent personal development opportunity
  • Join the steering committee and help establish the CYC
  • Work on issues that young people consider to be important to them and the community
  • Meet young people from your area
  • Learn new skills for example communication and leadership
The Community Youth Council is fully supported by Wolverton and Greenleys Town Council.
