Wolverton & Greenleys Community Youth Council (CYC) was established to provide a voice for young people at a level to forge links and facilitate dialogue between young people and decision makers.
The CYC would like to make improvements to our communities and work on projects that can have a positive impact on people’s lives. You can read CYC’s constitution.
The CYC is open to all young people aged between 11-18 years who live in, or are educated in, the parish of Wolverton, Greenleys, Hodge Lea and Stacey Bushes. We are actively looking for new members to join. It’s easy to apply to join, just fill out the application form and we will be in touch. These files may not be suitable for users of assistive technology and are in the following format: Office 365 Forms. Request an accessible format.
Keep up to date with our work by liking us on Facebook or following us on Instagram.
Why Join?
The CYC aims to give younger people a voice in the community, to make a difference. You need to be aged between 11-18 to take part. This is a great opportunity for all young people to have their say about issues that affect them and their communities. The CYC aims to raise the profile of young people to ensure that local decision makers recognise that younger people are the future generation and are an important part in our future.
Benefits of Joining
- Excellent personal development opportunity
- Join the steering committee and help establish the CYC
- Work on issues that young people consider to be important to them and the community

The CYC is fully supported by Wolverton & Greenleys Town Council. If you are interested or have any more questions please contact the Community Engagement and Project Officer on 01908 32680 or by emailing them.
